About Orrido di Bellano
The Orrido di Bellano is a natural gorge carved over 1.5 million years by the Pioverna torrent and the Adda glacier into giant potholes and caves. Walkways anchored to the sheer walls, lit in the evening, now reach the great waterfall upstream; at the entrance, the frescoed Ca’ del Diavol tower tells the story of Bellano.
