About Crotto dei Platani
Crotto dei Platani is at Via Statale Regina 73, Brienno, between Brienno and Argegno at the foot of Monte Gringo. It was founded in 1855; the Cavadini family took it on in 1977, and it reopened in May 2019 after a renovation by the Venelli Kramer studio. Chef Andrea Cremonesi’s kitchen reworks old local recipes, the cellar holds over 400 wines, and the tables sit on verandas and outdoors by the dock, the jetty and the garden.
